Slavske is one of the most popular and oldest ski resorts in Ukraine. The first lifts in Slavske were built in the 30s of last century. Slavske is located relatively close to the largest city in Western Ukraine – Lviv. This ski resort of Ukraine is crouded becouse many people from Lvov come here to spend a weekend, so get ready to queue for lifts.

Slavske located on a ridge Beskydy in the valley of the Opir and Slava rivers at Mount Trostyan. There are a few mountains for skiing around Slavske and several trails have been approved by the International Ski Federation. Part of the trails is equipped with artificial snow. But in most cases the route is not very developed, there are also some ice, and hills and grass.

Here are relatively well developed infrastructure in Slavske.

The biggest disappointment is part of road from the highway to the village (25 km), which is quite difficult to overcome in the car. But goverment intended to repaire it to Euro 2012 soccer championship.
